7.1.4 SOCIALE MEDIER SOM MIDDEL TIL AT MÅLRETTE KOMMUNIKATION OG MUSEUMSOPLEVELSER
Med udgangspunkt i museets eksisterende indhold og profil vil jeg foreslå Facebook og blogs som so-
ciale medier samt podcasts, som museet realistisk og forholdsvist nemt vil kunne udvikle. Derefter vil
jeg komme med nogle perspektiveringer over, hvordan museet vil kunne skabe virtuelle oplevelser til
sin hjemmeside baseret på de fire forskellige kommunikationsformer, som interaktionsbegrebet ifølge
Jens F. Jensen kan udfolde, når kommunikationsmidlet er IKT.
Facebook
Som tidligere nævnt benytter 95 % af danskerne Facebook og som det fremgår af Kulturministeriets
webbrugerundersøgelse, er ”relativt mange, som hverken bruger museer eller museernes hjemmesider,
hyppige brugere af sociale medier som Facebook og Twitter. Museerne har derfor en oplagt mulighed for
at engagere netop denne gruppe ved at være til stede de rigtige steder.” (Kulturarvsstyrelsen, 2010,
p.18). Det vil derfor være oplagt for Holstebro Museum at oprette en profil på Facebook for at tiltræk-
ke nye brugere og for at markedsføre museets aktiviteter gennem en imødekommende formidling, der
hvor brugerne befinder sig i forvejen – ligesom Brooklyn Museums Let Us Come to You-strategi. Da
Facebook er et socialt medie, er der automatisk indbyggede interaktionsfunktionaliteter i form af
”Comments” og ”Like” og på profilens ”Wall” kan man ligeledes kommentere. Som det fremgår af en
Facebookprofil nedenfor fra Brooklyn Museum, kan museet skrive lidt om sig selv som for eksempel
åbningstider, adresse og om formålet med profilen, og derudover tilføje kommende aktiviteter i
”Events”-funktionen, som ses i nederste venstre hjørne. Der også en indbygget viral markedsførings-
